Located on 220 Acres in the heart on Monmouth county Battleground Country Club was designed by Hal Purdy and opened in 1961.  Beginning in 2002 through 2004 the course was redesigned by the Northeast Collaborative, specifically Robert McNeil. The new design features a variety of golf holes from long traditional par 4's to a breathtaking par 3 over water. The renovations are complete and the 18-hole golf course is still nearly 7,000 yards, but challenging all golfers of varying abilities.
